Daily life for children in the South African township of Imizamo Yethu is tough: living in makeshift huts or on the streets, and experiencing violence and illness – particularly AIDS – from a very young age.
With the support of Class 10d at Oedeme Grammar School, we were able to offer young girls a brief respite from this difficult daily life. We used the generous donation to purchase new balls and kits for several netball teams. Now the girls can finally train properly. This was not possible before, as there were only a few balls, most of which were broken.
MANY THANKS AGAIN TO CLASS 10D OF OEDEME GRAMMAR SCHOOL!
