The risk of injury or fire was high, so we decided that the money available this year would be better spent on repairing the electrical system than on Christmas presents.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, therefore, there are no photos of happy children\u2019s faces at the Hout Bay Educare Centre, only the electrician\u2019s invoice.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s just how it goes sometimes, and you have to weigh things up.
